DOS Command Fasthelp

Type: External (6.0 and later)

Syntax:

FASTHELP [command]
[command] /?

Purpose: Displays a list of DOS commands with a brief explanation of each (new with DOS Version 6).

Discussion

The information provided in MS-DOS Help is more inclusive than that provided by FASTHELP, but if you just need a brief reminder, FASTHELP may be the best choice.

Example

To display help information for the DIR command, enter

fasthelp dir
