Access Administrative tools

To access Administrative Tools, there is two methods (Click on the hyperlink for instructions for that step)

Access via Control Panel

  1. Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
  2. Double-click Administrative Tools

Access via the Programs Menu (See Note)

  1. Click on Start
  2. Click on All Programs
   
  1. Click on Administrative Tools

Access via My Computer

  1. Access Run or Search window

  2. Type devmgmt.msc

 

 

Add Administrative Tools to Programs Menu

Note: Administrative Tools is not listed on the program menu by default. If you want it listed, follow these steps

  1. Double-click Taskbar and Start M
  2. Go to Taskbar and Start Menu (This link will open in a different window)
  3. Click the Start Menu tab
  4. There is two options, follow the steps depending on which one you want selected
    1. Start Menu
      1. Click Customize
   
      1. Click the Start Menu tab
   
      1. Click the Advanced tab
   
      1. Under the Start menu items:
        1. Scroll down to System Administrative Tools
      2. Select Display on the All Programs menu and the Start menu
   
      1. Click OK
   
  • Classic Start menu
    1. Put a check in Display Administrative Tools
    2. Click OK
