Windows 7 has a feature to assist you if you have a program that will not run in Windows 7.

  1. Right-click the program you are having issues with
   
  1. Click on Troubleshoot compatibility
   
  1. Windows will look for issues
   
  1. Click Try recommended settings
   
  1. Try clicking Start the program
   
  1. If it works, click Next
   
  • Then click Save
    •    
    1. If it doesn't work, then click No, try again using different settings
       
    1. Try a different version
       
    1. If it works, click Yes, save these settings for this program
       
    1. If it doesn't work you can either
      1. Click No, try again using different settings
        1. Repeat steps 9 and 10
      2. Contact Microsoft for assistance
