Manage your file encryption certificates

Windows 8

   

To access, do the following

  1. Open User Accounts

  2. Click Manage your file encryption certificates

   

 

To begin, do the following

  1. Click Next

   

  1. You will see this

   

  1. If there is a certificate that you want to use, leave Use this certificate marked

   

  1. if you want to view the certificate, choose View certificate

   

  1. If you have more than one certificate, highlight the one you want and click Select certificate

   

  1. If you want to create a new certificate, click Create a new certificate

   

  1. Click Next (the next steps may be different depending on the option you chose above)

   

  1. You will come to the back up the certificate window

   

  1. You have the option to backup your certificate and key

   

  1. Follow the prompts
