Delete Cookies, History, and Temp Files

To delete the temp files do the following

From Internet Explorer do the following

Version 6

  1. Open Internet Options
  2. Click on Clear history
  3. Click on Yes
  4. Click on Delete Cookies
  5. Say OK
   
  • Click on Delete Files
  • Put a check in Delete all offline content
  • Click on OK
    •    
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on View Objects
  • If a program file shows Damaged or unknown, highlight it, delete the file, and reboot the computer

    • Version 7 and 8

    1. Open Internet Options
    2. Click on Delete
       
    1. Select the items you want to delete
       
    1. Click Delete
       

    From Control panel do the following

     

    1. Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
    2. Double-click on Internet Options
    3. Click on Delete
       
    1. Select the items you want to delete
       
    1. Click Delete
