Michael Greene
Hendersonville, TN
Age 59, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 surrounded by his
loving family.
He leaves his high school sweetheart and wife of 24 years, Susan
(Harris) Greene; his daughter, Candice Haynes; his son and
daughter-in-law, Chassen and Meagan (Drenner) Haynes; his brother
and sister-in-law, Gary and Jann (Waltenbaugh) Greene; sister,
Connie Greene; and many nieces, nephews and caring friends.
He is preceded in death by parents Clarence Anderson Greene and
Annie Laura (Batson) Greene.
Michael was a caring husband, father and friend to many. After
graduating from Madison High School in 1975, he went on to earn his
bachelor's degree from University of Tennessee at Martin. He worked
for years in the electrical business, including Elec-Tech Electrical
Services with his brother Gary, before going to work with Prime
Mortgage and Harris Realtors. Following health issues which caused
his early retirement, Michael found his calling as a full-time
husband, father and friend.
As a Deacon of the Madison Church of Christ family, he enjoyed
fellowship and entertaining his friends and Sunday school
classmates. He was a gentle man with the largest of hearts that had
the ability to make anyone immediately love him. He will be greatly
missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM
in the main auditorium of Madison Church of Christ, 106 North
Gallatin Road, followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony starting
at 7 PM with Buck Dozier and Russ Corley officiating.
