Thomas Edward Manning Sr., age 52 of Cumberland City, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Houston County community Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.

Thomas was born on September 7, 1962 in Madison, TN, the son of the late Carson L. Manning and Ethel Marie Hardin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Amelia Michelle and Baby E.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Edward Manning Jr. and his wife Kelly Lynn; daughter, Catherine Ellis and husband Charles; grandchildren, Misha Abigail, Mary Lucille, Jacob Ryan, Brandon Matthew, and Carson Floyd; brothers, Charles Manning and Doug Manning; sister, Doris Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital, or the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
