Setting up Outlook 2000 to work with Comcast

To setup Outlook with Comcast, follow these steps

Click Next

Make sure None of the above is highlighted
Click Next

Make sure Internet only has the dot in it
Click Next

Click Yes

Type in a Display name

Type in your E-mail address

Set the following information
1. The incoming mail server is a POP3
2. Type in mail.comcast.net for incoming mail
3. Type smtp.comcast.net for the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server

Type in your username and password
Click Next

Select Connect using my local area network (LAN)
Click Next

Click Finish
